When a trooper with the Montana Highway Patrol investigates a car accident and says that he has seen fatal crashes with less vehicle damage, those involved in the current accident are lucky to walk away with minor injuries. This recently happened in a three-vehicle car accident near Polson. The trooper said that seatbelts contributed to the lack of serious injury.
